Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend reveals wild ‘Kyle Rittenhouse-style’ plan to protect Tesla from vandals

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend has suggested Tesla should impose a ‘Kyle Rittenhouse-style’ security plan to protect dealerships amid a spike in vandalism.

Rittenhouse, then 18, became a MAGA icon after he was acquitted of killing two protesters while defending businesses during an anti-police demonstration in Wisconsin.

Greene’s reporter boyfriend Brian Glenn has called on Elon Musk to ‘start having armed security guards in front of dealerships’ in a sensational bid to protect Tesla’s assets.

‘This is domestic terrorism. These people are terrorizing not only dealerships and taking down an American company, but also drivers as well,’ he said.

‘Maybe it’s time to go full-on Kyle Rittenhouse-style security and start having armed security guards in front of a dealership.’

Glenn said if he were in charge of a dealership that ‘is exactly what I would be doing.’

Rittenhouse traveled from his home in Illinois to Kenosha, Wisconsin in August of 2020 when he was just 17 amid ongoing protests relating to the shooting of Jacob Blake – a black man who was shot dead by a police officer.

The teenager was armed with an AR-15 style rifle and said he joined a group of people who were at the protest to defend local businesses from looting and violence.

He shot three men who were trying to take his rifle. Two of them died. A jury found him not guilty of all charges.

Glenn’s proposal comes as vandals begin targeting Teslas in an effort to violently protest Musk’s close ties with Trump and his involvement in the Department of Government Efficiency.

There have been more than a dozen acts of vandalism against Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations since Musk was introduced to be play a key role in the administration.

Musk is simultaneously contending with Tesla shares nosediving an extraordinary 40 per cent since the start of 2025.

Tesla has been losing its long-held EV dominance in several markets, including a 45 percent sales drop in Europe in January and a 19 percent year-on-year sales drop in China as of January.

Overall, there has been a year-over-year sales decline in 2024, marking the first annual downshift in deliveries in the company’s history.

Glenn said petty celebrations from Democrats – including Tim Walz – about the downfall of Tesla also impacts everyday Americans who may not realize they have retirement funds tied to Musk’s company.

‘Last time I checked there were millions in the retirement, in the 401ks and other retirement accounts with Tesla stocks,’ he said.

Video of Glenn’s proposal faced fierce backlash on social media, with critics condemning the use of violence to target protesters.

‘You and Marge can be the first… grab your Trump Bibles and your AR-15s,’ one critic said.

‘They want that. Don’t waste the money. Jail them. Money well spent,’ another said.

Trump has described the Tesla attacks as an act of ‘terrorism’ and threatened to imprison or deport offenders.

He said he would send them to the same ‘hellish’ mega-prison in El Salvador to which his officials have deported alleged Venezuelan gang members.

‘I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla,’ he wrote on TruthSocial.

‘Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!’

‘People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!’

Attorney General Pam Bondi said three people have been charged so far in attacks at Tesla showrooms in the wake of Trump’s threat.

One Tesla showroom in Salem, Oregon, was shot at with an AR 15-style rifle in February. Suspected vandal Adam Matthew Lansky, 41, is also accused of causing major damage at the same store with molotov cocktails in January.

Similarly, four Tesla Cybertrucks were set ablaze overnight at a storage lot in Seattle’s industrial SoDo neighborhood, KING-TV reported.

Officials say at least two vehicles were severely damaged in the fire.

Last week, a man accidentally set himself on fire while trying to burn down Tesla chargers to protest Musk, according to police.

Daniel Clarke-Pounder, 24, allegedly burned three Tesla chargers in a South Carolina parking lot and inadvertently set his clothes with Molotov cocktails on fire on March 7.

He spray-painted in red ‘long live the Ukraine’ and ‘f**k Trump’ on the pavement next to the charging stations near an outlet mall in North Charleston, according to police.

Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, 42, was taken into custody in Loveland, Colorado on January 29 after allegedly being caught attempting to light Molotov cocktails near a dealership.

Prosecutors said Nelson was in possession of a container of gasoline, bottles and wicks, which were allegedly intended to be used to create incendiary weapons.

Lanksy and Nelson are charged with arson of property in interstate commerce and possession of unregistered destructive device, while Clarke-Pounder was charged with arson of property in interstate commerce.

All three suspects face up to 20 years in prison if convicted, the DoJ said.

‘Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars,’ Bondi said.

Hackers have even doxxed Tesla owners in the United States, releasing an interactive map showing their names, addresses, phone numbers and emails on a website that uses a Molotov cocktail as a cursor.
