A powerful explosion at a gas station in Rome injured at least 10 people, according to initial reports. Social media videos captured the moment a fireball erupted.

A massive explosion rocked a gas station in the Italian capital, Rome. Multiple reports suggested at least 10 people were injured in the blast.
Videos on social media showed a ball of flames as the explosion happened.
Those nearby and on the street could be seen running for their safety.
Another video showed an empty compound, behind which thick black smoke could be seen.
Unconfirmed reports suggested those injured included several police officers, firefighters and passers-by.
However, there was no official word on the number of injuries or any casualties yet.
Emergency teams were reported to be battling the flames.
