The Creative Arts Emmys are awards given out by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to recognize achievement in television programming outside of the Primetime Emmy Awards categories.
Night one ended with awards given out in 50 categories, with Maya winning for her voiceover work on the Netflix animated series Big Mouth.
Other winners included Alan Cummingm, who won the award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for his work on The Traitors, and Pat Sajak, who won for Outstanding Host For A Game Show.
While on the red carpet Ariana was also seen posing with Morgan Marcell who stunned in an aquamarine gown with cut-outs.
She completed the sizzling look with silver heels.

The seven-part series delves into the fascinating world of animal matriarchies from around the globe. Notably, the production team is entirely female, which Bassett said was a ‘big draw and highlight.’
