Tyson has made various appearances in the Stamford-based company throughout the year 1998, and when quizzed if he could return to the wrestling promotion again, the 58-year-old athlete quickly noted he was all in for it.

American boxing legend Mike Tyson has said he is open to returning to the WWE. The multi-time champion made various appearances in the Stamford-based company throughout 1998. The 58-year-old athlete was recently asked in an interview if he could appear in the wrestling promotion again. Tyson quickly noted he was all in for it. “Oh God, I would love to do that,” the legendary boxer told Bleacher Report in an exclusive interview. “That’s me at my childhood best, I had a great time,” he added. Tyson was also asked if there was a particular name he would like to face in the WWE. “Shoot, all of them, let’s get a Battle Royal,” he responded.

Tyson’s most iconic involvement with the WWE came during WrestleMania 14. He acted as a ring enforcer for Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michael’s WWE Championship match. It was one of the more memorable moments in the company’s Attitude Era. Recently the WWE announced on social media that Tyson would be appearing at WrestleMania 41.

After the historic 1998 WrestleMania appearance, Tyson made another series of visits to the WWE. He acted as a guest host for an episode of Monday Night RAW in 2010 where he teamed with Chris Jericho against D-Generation X. T

yson has also been spotted in other wrestling promotions such as the AEW. He presented the inaugural AEW TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes in May 2020. He made another appearance on AEW Dynamite a year later. Tyson’s contribution to professional wrestling and his accolades in boxing got him inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Despite nearing his 60s, Tyson remained in the limelight for the latter half of 2024. The legendary boxer was involved in a heated feud with American influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul. The duo faced off in a heavyweight boxing match on November 15, 2024. The match was hosted at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight was contested over eight two-minute rounds. Jake eventually overcame all the challenges to beat Tyson by unanimous decision, shocking the world.
