The attack occurred near a strip of shops on Lurline Street in Cranbourne, where the man was assaulted by two women.

The pair allegedly approached the man, stabbed him, and stole his vehicle, which they then drove to Pakenham, before they were arrested.
The victim, who was said to be in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time’, reportedly screamed out for help before stumbling towards a pizza shop for help.
He the collapsed in the middle of the road where he was bleeding profusely.
‘It was a stab wound and there was blood everywhere,’ one local woman who performed first aid told Sunrise.
‘I just put my hands straight on the wound but I was also on the phone (to the emergency services). His hands were all sliced up through his fingers.’
