A Michigan hospital has been placed under lockdown following a shooting at the facility.
Staff at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy have barricaded themselves inside the hospital while the suspect remains on the loose.
Police confirmed the shooting at around 8:07am on Thursday but did not give details about any fatalities or injuries.
The public is being urged to avoid the hospital, which is located 24 miles north of Detroit, amid the ongoing stakeout.
