Hundreds of Microsoft 365 users have expressed frustration and confusion with unexplained issues with Outlook and Teams.
X has been flooded with posts from baffled users who are unable to use the popular programs.
‘Well that’s new…Outlook had a memory leak or something – got up to about 5Gb of RAM before I task-killed it,’ one man wrote on Monday evening.
‘Why is this happening, please, when I [use] my android Outlook?’ another asked, sharing a video of a blank screen while she tried to use the email app.
‘OMFG I hate Microsoft Word!!!! Has it always sucked this bad?’ one outraged user echoed.
According to Downdetector tracking, Microsoft 365 complaints spiked around 6:30pm with over 1,000 reports.
Fifty-five percent of those complaints are pertaining to Outlook, while 23 percent were about logging in and 22 percent were about the website in general, the tracker reported.
Microsoft 365 has addressed the widespread outages, sharing a service status update reading: ‘We’re having issues, but we’re working on it.’
