TMC rebel MP Sukendu Sekhar Ray posted a cricket analogy depicting clean-bowled action with the middle stump falling off following the arrest of former principal of RG Kar MCH Sandip Ghosh by the CBI in connection with alleged financial irregularities in the medical establishment during his tenure. “Middle stump unrooted, what next,” Ray wrote in his post.
The ruling party in Bengal, TMC’s shunted out spokesperson, Santanu Sen said in a social media post, “Justice served by God. It has been proven that I didn’t say anything wrong. I had shared all information about this corruption at the right place long ago.”

Notably, TMC MP Sukendu Sekhar Ray w as served a notice by the Kolkata Police last month over his social media post demanding custodial interrogation of Police Commissioner and the former principal of RG Kar MCH, Sandip Ghosh in connection with its probe into the rape and murder of the woman doctor.
On the other hand, TMC leader Santanu Sen, who had criticised the principal of RG Kar MCH and the affairs of the state health department over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor was removed from the post of the party’s spokesperson last month.
