While Kiara Advani is all set to welcome her first child with her husband Sidharth Malhotra, she is ready to hit another milestone. The actor is all set to make her debut at one of fashion’s most anticipated moments this year – the Met Gala 2025. Kiara will be walking the red carpet at the Met Gala 2025 that will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan.
The theme for the Met Gala 2025 is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’. As per reports, the theme will focus on blending fashion, history, and cultural influence. The display will explore how Black menswear has developed from 18th-century Europe to its contemporary influence world, using inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion. The dress code, ‘Tailored for You,’ will see how attendees interpret this illustrious heritage of artistry, precision, and uniqueness. Viewers can expect bold takes on traditional menswear silhouettes.
The 2025 Met Gala will be chaired by fashion icon Anna Wintour. Apart from her, the co-chair will also include LeBron James, Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Lewis Hamilton. Held in benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan, the invite-only event sees guests from various spheres. From film, television, music, business, sports, social media, and philanthropy, guests dress up in haute couture based on the theme and the dress code.
The Met Gala 2025 red carpet will be held on May 6, while the exhibit will be open from May 6 to October 26.
Kiara Advani had earlier represented India at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala Dinner at Cannes in 2024. On the work front, she will be next seen in Toxic with Yash, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, and Don 3 with Ranveer Singh.
