But before finding fame on the big screen, this American actor rose to prominence on a hit NBC sitcom.
He would later transform himself into one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men, starring alongside the likes of Jennifer Lawrence.
Earlier this week, he shared his first ever head shot, looking almost unrecognizable with wavy blonde locks and a smoldering pose.

His wife Katherine Schwarzenegger appeared shook up, as she commented: ‘This is a lot for me to process.’
Meanwhile other fans were left puzzled by appearance, noting that he looked like Patrick Swayze and John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard.
Another said they thought it was Heath Ledger at first glance.
Born Christopher Michael Pratt in 1979, the Minnesota native looks to be in his early 20s in the moody black and white portrait.
Pratt was discovered at age 19 waiting tables at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company restaurant in Maui, Hawaii.

Director Rae Dawn Chong cast him in the short horror film Cursed Part 3, which got his foot in the door.
He then landed his first regular television role was as Harold Brighton “Bright” Abbott on the series Everwood.
But it was in 2009 when Pratt really found success playing Andy Dwyer on the NBC comedy series Parks and Recreation.

Although the part was meant to be just a supporting character, Pratt’s humor and charisma convinced show runners to make him a bigger part.
After losing weight for the 2011 Moneyball, Pratt then shocked the world with a toned mirror selfie – pushing him into the category of a Hollywood leading man.
Thanks to his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt is now one of the most successful new stars on Tinseltown.
