Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has joined the world’s youngest billionaires. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the 27-year-old YouTuber has hit a net worth of $1 billion with estimated monthly earnings of $50 million. With this, he becomes the eighth-youngest billionaire in the world.
The billionaire recently posted a series of photos on Instagram. In them, he is holding large stacks of cash and copying the pose of his meme alter ego, Mr Lean. For those who don’t know, Mr Lean is a viral version of MrBeast that fans on social media call his “hood” version. This meme usually shows him in flashy clothes, showing off money in an over-the-top style. Many online see it as a fun way of flexing wealth.
“You guys can stop asking me to recreate the meme now,” he captioned the photos.
This major milestone for the YouTuber comes just months after he appeared on Diary of a CEO, a podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett. Back then, he said he was a billionaire “on paper” but not in reality.
“Yeah. But in my actual bank account, I have less than one million. [I pay myself] a little bit, but I also have some assistants and things like that, so I try to pay myself what I spend personally, a month, just to stay even,” the YouTuber had said.
Over the years, MrBeast has been very open about his goals. He has often said that whatever he earns in life, he will donate it.
In 2019, he posted on X (then known as Twitter), “I know most people prob won’t believe this, but my main goal in life is to just make a bunch of money, and then give it all away while doing as much good as possible before I die. I just don’t want to live a meaningless life, I want to make an impact and be content when I’m older!”

He repeated a similar message in 2023, writing, “Twitter – Rich people should help others with their money. Me – Okay, I’ll use my money to help people, and I promise to give away all my money before I die. Every single penny. Twitter – MrBeast bad.”
