MSNBC’s star morning host Mika Brzezinski was roasted online for her ‘hysterical’ reaction to Sunday night’s Donald Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Speaking with the ladies of the The View on Monday, Brzezinski appeared to sound the alarm over what a second Trump presidency might look like as she gave her reaction to the gathering where 20,000 MAGA supporters turned out.
‘If you thought the unhinged hysteria on The View couldn’t get any crazier, they brought on MSNBC banshee Mika Brzezinski who warned: “These are the final hours!” She claims the MSG rally was one big “white nationalist, Nazi-type rally” with “historic parallels,”‘ conservative commentator Nicholas Fondacaro wrote on X.
Brzezinski appeared earnest in her warnings with just over a week to go before the majority of voters cast their vote.

Brzezinski quickly came in for ridicule from those commenting on X
‘I think, it was everything that you need to know about Donald Trump in one weird, white nationalist, nazi-type rally, and of course, there’s historic parallels to where and when this happened, but even more so it also points out everything that we know,’ Brzezinski began as she listed reasons not to vote for the former president.
‘It’s important to act on right now because this is the moment, and we won’t have it again. Nobody gets a pass trashing America, Puerto Rican Americans, nobody gets a pass degrading people. Nobody gets a pass degrading legal migrants and terrorizing people. Nobody gets a pass threatening his enemies with using the military against them.
‘Nobody gets a pass on inciting an insurrection. Nobody gets a pass on saying he fancies hitler and wants to have generals like his. Nobody gets a pass on insulting veterans and saying those who have died for our country are suckers and losers except for convicted felon Donald Trump,’ she said to audience applause.
Brzezinski was so riled up that she continued sounding a warning how she believes a second Trump term would be a ‘descent into fascism.’

Dozens of commenters online mocked Brzezinski’s reaction to Trump’s MSG rally
‘Normalizing January 6th as a day of love. I’ll say it again and again. Normalizing enemy within. It’s not so funny anymore or you think he doesn’t mean it until he does mean it. Saying strict abortion bans are a beautiful thing. Are you kidding me?’ Brzezinski said as she grew emotional.
‘I come with such dire warnings, and I mean them from the bottom of my heart. As a daughter of refugees who came here escaping war, came here for America, to be a part of a democracy, to be a part of building something beautiful where they could be free, I’m telling you the good news is that I believe women will be the beacon in this election.’
Brzezinski’s siren call was roundly mocked online as some interpreted her frantic energy to be verging on the comical.
‘Gaslighting propagandist Mika Brzezinski cries on the toxic show The View, calling Trump a dictator. Does Mika need a mental health evaluation, and get prescribed some benzos?’ asked Matthew Nichol who describes himself as an Ultra MAGA patriot.
‘Let’s change the term “gaslighting” back to “lying.” That has worked for decades,’ suggested Sally Tanner.
‘Her hate is causing her to have a mental breakdown,’ posted Jerry Groen.
Brzezinski was so riled up that she continued sounding a warning that a second Trump term would be a ‘descent into fascism.’
‘You guys remember that one time when Donald Trump was actually president for four years and didn’t do any of this?’ wrote Jeremy Boreing.
‘If you had confidence in a campaign you wouldn’t have to make up absolutely insane nonsense like this about the other guys,’ tweeted Matt Whitlock.
‘Mika and the entire cast of the view need to be detained under mental health laws for their own protection before election day,’ quipped Michael McNally.
‘These ladies are all nut jobs ….great comedy though,’ added another user.
‘She must be on some medication,’ said one referring to Brzezinski’s rant. ‘Last night was amazing. Where was she sitting?’
Later in the show Brzezinski said it was Trump who ‘forced’ The Washington Post editorial board to not endorse Kamala Harris.
Last week The Washington Post announced it will not endorse a presidential candidate, sparking fury among its liberal readers who pledged to cancel their subscriptions to the paper
On Friday the Post announce its editorial board would not be endorsing either presidential candidate, and how they would refrain from making any future presidential endorsements.
‘That everything that Trump is threatening, you need to believe, and it’s already happening. If billionaires bend to his will … He threatens, disparages, demeans people, but he also makes things happen for himself,’ Brzezinski said.
‘He got the Washington Post and Jeff Bezos, who’s supposedly a powerful, brilliant billionaire. He got Bezos to back down, the head of Amazon. Runs the Washington Post, owns it. He got them to stop what they have been doing timelessly, which is endorsing a candidate. He forced them to not endorse. That’s pretty scary, guys,’ she said.
The decision has seen liberal readers cancel their subscription to the paper.
In 2016 the Post’s editorial board endorsed Hillary Clinton over Trump while in 2020 the board endorsed President Biden.
