Actor duo Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh’s son, Sufi, celebrated his fourth birthday on Monday, February 3. To mark the special occasion, Jankee shared a heartfelt note along with a video capturing precious moments of their little one. While Sufi’s adorable antics steal the show, it’s his kind gesture on his birthday that truly warms hearts.
Instead of a traditional celebration, Sufi shared his joy with the security guards and workers in his locality. Proud father Nakuul Mehta shared a clip of the touching moment on social media.
In the video, Sufi stands surrounded by security guards and workers in uniform. A birthday cake is placed on a chair and as he cuts it, the group cheers him on. Sharing the moment, Nakuul wrote in the caption, “The boy decided to cut his cake with the main crew & feed them.”
On his birthday, Sufi’s mother, Jankee shared a short clip depicting his adorable antics. It opens with a sight of the birthday boy months after his birth. A follow-up snapshot shows a grown-up Sufi. Later, he played a guitar, rode a bicycle and competed in school sports. In one snap he is seen taking. In the caption, she wrote, “The youngest Mehta is now 4. So are the parents! Nobody is weeping. Also, Nobody prepared us for the unhealthy amounts of joy, beauty, surprises, curiosity, warmth and irrational paternal love we would feel in every cell of our bodies. Like watching him eat his lunch rn, whilst silently watching his videos from his infant days, trying to find some coherent thoughts that are fighting the burst of emotion one feels at every given moment and also simultaneously missing him cause he is 13 feet away. Somebody should have prepared us…Happy Sufi Day to us and you.”
Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh met at the Shiamak Davar Dance Camp after they finished school. The couple dated for about nine years before marrying on January 28, 2012. On February 3, 2021, the couple welcomed a baby boy. In terms of work, Nakuul Mehta most recently captivated viewers with his performance in Bada Sheher Choti Family, co-starring Erica Fernandes. He previously appeared in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 3 as Ram Kapoor.
