Narmada edged out Sonam Uttam Maskar to the top spot in the women’s 10m air rifle, while Bhanwala clinched his second consecutive final win in the men’s rapid-fire T4 final.

Indian shooter Anish Bhanwala clinched the top podium spot in men’s 25m rapid-fire pistol at the National Shooting Trials at Dehradun on Friday, while Narmada Nithin came up trumps in the women’s 10m air rifle.
Narmada shot to a score of 253.7 in the 24-shot final to edge out Sonam Uttam Maskar by 1.7 points, while Bhanwala registered a score of 30 to claim his second consecutive final win in the men’s rapid-fire T4 final.

Narmada scored 253.7 in the 24-shot final, narrowly defeating World Cup Final silver medallist Sonam Uttam Maskar by 1.7 points. Delhi’s Rajshree Anilkumar claimed third place with a score of 230 after 22 shots.
In the qualification round, Narmada finished sixth with a score of 629.5. World Championship bronze medallist Mehuli Ghosh led the qualification with 632.2, just 0.1 ahead of Sonam. Rajshree closely followed in third place with 631.9 after six series of 10 shots each.
Shreya Agrawal (630.5), 50m 3P T4 winner Vidarsha K Vinod (630.3), Ayonika Paul (629.4), and Dnyaneshwari Jayveer Patil (629.3) also made it to the T3 final line-up.
Navy’s Pradeep Singh Shekhawat challenged him all the way but had to settle for silver with 29, while Anish’s Haryana teammate Adarsh Singh secured third place with 23 shots.

Anish also topped the T4 qualification round with a score of 584, achieving a double in the qualifications. Adarsh followed with 581, ahead of fellow Haryana shooter Mandeep Singh (579). Bhavesh Shekhawat (577), Udhayveer Sidhu (576), and Pradeep Singh Shekhawat contributed in a closely contested field.
A day earlier, Esha Singh, Parth Rakesh Mane and Vidarsa Vinod topped their respective events as Esha claimed the top podium spot in the women’s 25m pistol T3 event, while Vidarsa won the 50m rifle 3 positions T4 competition. Parth clinched top honours in men’s 10m air rifle T4.
