Television actors Neil Bhatt and Neha Rana are currently garnering much attention with their hit serial Megha Barsenge. Produced by Saurabh Tewari under the banner of Parin Multimedia, the Colors TV show has been shooting in Bhimtal and Nainital for the past three weeks, showcasing picturesque backdrops of mountains, dense forests, and secluded places. Recent reports claim that the makers of the series have grabbed so much attention due to the show’s new locations that they are planning to travel overseas for a shoot.
A recent report by India Forums revealed that the cast of Megha Barsenge is set to jet off from India for shooting of a special sequence. While the makers have been tight-lipped about this development, the report claims that a few exotic overseas locations have been shortlisted. Among them, Abu Dhabi and Poland are among the top shortlisted destinations for this schedule so far.
Earlier, a source close to the development revealed to IWMBuzz.com that overwhelming response from the outdoor shoots prompted the makers of Megha Barsenge to extend their schedule until the last week of May 2025. According to the creative team of the show, this has helped them break the monotony of shooting on the sets while offering a new ambience in the drama.
The source said, “The response that has been derived from the immensely realistic outdoor shoots motivated the makers to extend the shoot schedule. Coming next week, Megha Barsenge will complete a one-month tenure of shooting at the above-mentioned outdoor locations.”
The same report claimed that the shoots comprise a bare minimum crew with lead actors including Neil Bhatt, Neha Rana and Kinshuk Mahajan, which has also helped the makers and producers with cost-cutting. Talking about the same, producer Saurabh Tewari told IWMBuzz.com, “We had earlier planned the outdoor shoot to be only for five days. However, the enriched ambience created a lot of curiosity in the minds of viewers, and it gave the show a clutter-breaking uplift. Now, we have extended the tenure of the outdoor shoot. We will be shooting in Bhimtal till the last week of May.”
Megha Barsenge features Neil Bhatt as IAS Arjun Talwar, Neha Rana as the titular character Megha and Kinshuk Mahajan as Manoj Kohli, among others. Moving on to its plotline, Megha is a simple girl who falls for Manoj who initially seemed good but later turns out to be a fraud. He married Megha for the Rs 25 lakh that her father had saved for her future. To find answers to her questions, Megha travels to Germany and meets Arjun who pushes her to take action against Manoj. In the meantime, Arjun falls for Megha and the story continues.
