- Jake Elliott unsuccessfully attempted a long field goal in the third quarter
An Eagles fan required medical attention on Sunday after she was hit in the face by a missed field goal.
Jillian Zimmer was enjoying Philly’s eventual 22-16 win over the Panthers until kicker Jake Elliott missed a 52-yard attempt wide right in the third quarter.
And while the Eagles ultimately recovered from Elliott’s blunder, Zimmer was forced to leave her seat and be treated after the ball smacked into her on the play.
A video posted to her TikTok account shows her appearing to ice her face before being wheeled to the medic inside the stadium.
She’s later seen sitting on a bed receiving treatment, while the caption of her video provided an update on her health.
‘Currently still at the hospital but GO BIRDS,’ she wrote.

Jillian had been enjoying the Eagles’ eventual win over the Panthers until she got hurt
Zimmer appeared in subsequent TikTok without any apparent bruises or marks on her face, and shared a comment that explained how she was hit with the ball.
‘The person in front of her raised a sign at the last second and it deflected off that and hit her,’ read a comment that she re-posted in the later video.
Ultimately, Zimmer seems to be in decent spirits about the ordeal and the Eagles improved to a 11-2 record on the season with the close win.
Philly will host the Steelers next weekend in an all-Pennsylvania clash between two of the NFL’s hottest teams.
