Star West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran entered his name in the history books on Thursday, May 22, by becoming the first player in the world to hit 100 sixes in the IPL for the Lucknow Super Giants. Pooran hammered his 100th six in the IPL for LSG during the IPL 2025 match between LSG and Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Pooran needed three sixes on Thursday to cross the 100-mark, and he achieved the objective by hitting R Sai Kishore for a maximum on the fourth ball of the 15th over.
