After the recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef aired, many started criticising and trolling Nikki Tamboli for betraying Faisu.

Celebrity MasterChef is nearing its finale and tensions are rising among the contestants. Nikki Tamboli has come under fire from viewers after her actions in the latest episode, where she backstabbed Faisu. The drama happened during the barter challenge when Nikki desperately needed prawns and she used various tactics to convince Faisu to exchange them for Brown Rice Syrup. In the end, the content creator gave up. However, when it was Faisu’s turn to request an exchange, Nikki straightaway refused to give him anything. This left Faisu disappointed and many fans were upset by her actions.
After the episode aired, people started criticising and trolling Nikki for not helping Faisu when needed. Not just fans, even judges Ranveer Brar and Farah Khan felt that Faisu had made a bad decision by trusting her. As the situation gained attention, Nikki decided to respond to the backlash. She told trollers to focus on working hard to achieve something in life instead of wasting time online. She also compared herself to a lioness and shared that while some people talk behind her back, she has the courage to face them directly.
Taking to X, Nikki Tamboli wrote, “There’s a lot I have been reading about me betraying. Can someone explain to me the exact meaning of betrayal? MasterChef is not about who makes the best food out of the best ingredients, it’s about who makes the best when you got the least. Shifting from desserts to savoury takes guts which I proved to myself. Nobody offers me a trophy if I don’t win it. Isn’t that a betrayal too?”
“Stop being hypocritical. It’s better to get a life and earn and make yourself proud instead of wasting your time on social media, not even by showing your true face. Dogs do bark from behind but it takes guts to stand tall in front of them just like a lioness does in the jungle. Well just in case you have been to a safari,” the former Bigg Boss contestant added.
