Nimrat Kaur takes to Instagram to share summer skin care face mask.
Nimrat Kaur has already won hearts with her stellar performances on screen. But there’s more to her than just acting — her Instagram is a delightful blend of homemade food recipes and simple, effective skincare hacks. Always inspiring with her wholesome lifestyle choices, the actress recently shared a unique skincare tip, perfect for keeping your skin healthy and glowing during the summer.
On Instagram, Nimrat Kaur shared a video captioned: “Kesariya mera, hack hai piyaaa…” highlighting one of the skincare hacks for summer. She begins the clip by mentioning, “So one of my favourite summer hacks for the skin is milk and saffron,” and adds a piece of advice she got from Kashmiris, “I was travelling in Kashmir and you know, I was buying saffron from there. And wahape unhone mujhe boloa ke, aap ye biryani me daal sakte hai aur phir baaki sweet dishes me daal sakte hai lekin iska ek aur sabse acha use hai ke isko aap dudh me daalke aur summers me apne skin pe lagaiye (And there they told me that you can add this in biryani and other sweet dishes but its one and best use is that you can add it in milk and apply it on your skin in summers).”
Talking about the benefits of the skincare formula, Nimrat adds, “There’s nothing better for the skin to kind of get rid of the tan and you know, the damage from the sun. I thought I’d try it.”
Following this, the actress demonstrates the very simple technique of preparing a face mask by using a few sticks of kesar dipped in chilled milk. Alongside this, she says, “So we put a little bit of chilled milk. I like nice and cold (milk) and take about 4 to 5 sticks of saffron. I think that much is enough, and there you go. Nice and pretty. So this is a beautiful, nice colour now.”
She continues, “We’re just putting this (a pre-cut facial mask paper sheet) in the saffron milk, smells like kheer. Nice and moist, and we are ready. That’s it. Sit with this for a while and watch the magic. So nice and so fresh. I feel like kheer,” and laughs.
