For her appearance at the inauguration of a new Swadesh store in Mumbai, Nita Ambani stunned in a pink saree. What stole the show was her heirloom jewellery.

Nita Ambani recently attended the inauguration of a new Swadesh store in Mumbai with poise and traditional flair. Staying true to her timeless love for sarees, Nita turned to a heritage-inspired look, elevating the moment with exquisite craftsmanship and ancestral jewellery rich in history.
For the occasion, Nita Ambani wore a beautifully woven gharchola saree in a soft blush-pink palette, crafted from fine Madurai cotton. Delicately embroidered borders and subtle touches of gold lent the saree a refined elegance. Dressed in the classic seedha pallu drape, her look paid tribute to Gujarat’s traditional textile heritage.
Take a look at Nita’s saree here.
What made this ensemble even more special was its origin. The saree took nearly ten months to complete, painstakingly handwoven by master craftsman Shri Rajshrundar from Rajkot. Styled by Manish Malhotra, it was paired with a phirozi blue silk kanchali blouse, which featured antique gold threadwork, adding an air of vintage regality.
True to her signature style, Nita chose meaningful jewellery pieces, each carrying layers of familial significance. She wore an intricate gold bajubandh, an heirloom passed down from her maternal great-grandmother. A deeply personal piece, this armlet was also part of Nita’s wedding trousseau and is now intended for her daughter Isha, and eventually, granddaughter Aadiyashakti.
Her necklace was a true work of art: each section set in white gold, hand-painted to depict scenes from the life of Lord Srinath, celebrating devotion and craftsmanship alike. A pair of diamond-studded earrings and a stack of soft pink bangles tied the entire look together with understated sophistication. For the makeup, Nita kept it polished. Her makeup featured rosy eyeshadow, defined eyeliner, and lush lashes, balanced with rosy cheeks, a hint of highlighter, and glossy pink lips. Her hair was parted neatly and styled into a sleek low bun, while a soft pink bindi added the perfect final note of tradition.
With this appearance, Nita Ambani not only highlighted the richness of Indian textiles and heirloom jewellery but also brought to the forefront the importance of preserving craftsmanship and familial legacies. Her look served as a graceful blend of tradition, sentiment, and style.
