The founder of the Reliance Foundation and Dhirubhai Ambani International School was recently conferred with the Governor’s Citation. For this occasion, she donned a stunning pink Banarasi saree.
Nita Ambani wore a pink saree that celebrated Indian craftsmanship. She wore a handwoven Shikargah Banarasi saree which featured the intricate Kadwa weaving technique and traditional Konya design. She draped the saree to perfection and let the pallu fall gracefully from her shoulders. The pallu featured stunning white designs and it was a celebration of India’s rich heritage.

For the accessories, she paired the saree with diamond statement stud earrings, a multi-layered pearl necklace, and a diamond ring on her finger. Coming to the makeup, it was soft and subtle and it perfectly complemented her elegant saree. She went with a flawless base and defined her eyes with a soft brown shade on her eyelids. She added a classic winged eyeliner and a hint of mascara to make her eyes pop. She also added kohl on her waterline to further add drama and define her eyes. She added a hint of blush for that youthful flush of colour. She added a highlighter to the high points of her face for that element of sheen. A soft glossy pink shade on her lips completed her look.
Nita left her hair open and styled them in soft curls. She gave her hair a side partition and nailed her look. Her look is a masterclass on how to take classic Indian weaves and elevate them with the right accessories and makeup.
