‘No Golden Bullet’ Putin ‘Moved’ Critical Asset Out Of ATACMS Range, Ukraine Divided Over Biden Move

The decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russian territory with ATACMS could be a decisive boost for Kyiv, the Ukrainian foreign minister has said. “It could be a game changer. The longer Ukraine can strike, the shorter the war will be,” Andrii Sybiha told reporters on Nov. 18.He argued that Kyiv has the “full right to strike military targets on the territory of Russia.” “It could have a very positive impact on the situation on the battlefield,” Sybiha added. US President Joe Biden approved the use of long-range missiles, long sought by Kyiv, two months before he leaves office.Meanwhile, independent experts have warned Biden’s decision on ATACMS may have come too late. The shift in US policy regarding Kyiv’s use of long-range missiles comes as Russian forces press their advance through eastern Ukraine.
