Nothing has confirmed a major change with the CMF Phone 2 Pro which is launching in India on April 28 along with a slew of CMF Buds models.
CMF Phone 2 Pro will have a first for Nothing when it launches in April
Nothing has confirmed the new CMF Phone launch later this month. CMF by Nothing is gearing up to expand its presence in India’s mid-range smartphone market with the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed a significant policy shift aimed at budget-conscious consumers.
The brand has seemingly confirmed its good news for anyone who are eagerly waiting to buy the new CMF Phone 2 Pro model. Nothing says its new budget phone will come with a charger in the box, which is a first for the company ever since the Phone 1 made its debut a few years back.
Responding to customer demand on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing India President Akis Evangelidis confirmed the addition of the charger. The post read, “Please give a charger in the box only. Nothing can do it. We really need it.”
The Nothing India head retweeted the post, accompanied by a picture hinting at the packaging design with a dedicated slot for the charging adapter. He responded, “We heard you, my man – giving it a go with the CMF Phone 2 Pro in India.”
CMF Phone 2 Pro India Launch And Price Details
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is all set to launch on April 28 at 6.30 PM in India. Teasers have already confirmed that the phone will be made available via Flipkart. Along with the upcoming phone, Nothing will also launch the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus earbuds from the brand on the same day.
The Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro is likely to be priced under Rs 22,000, which makes it ideal for users looking for a mid-range smartphone. The CMF Phone 1 was introduced at Rs 14,999 in India.
CMF Phone 2 Pro: Specifications
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It should get the latest Nothing OS 3.0 right out of the box. The new CMF Phone is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 33W fast charging with the charger packed into the box.
In the recent leaks, the rear panel design of the CMF Phone 2 Pro appears to have a textured design and includes the CMF by Nothing branding at the bottom. The company is likely to offer a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 50MP primary sensor, along with an ultra-wide lens and a portrait sensor with 2x zoom.
It is good to see Nothing bring charger in the box with the new mid-range CMF phone, and we would like other brands to keep these accessories in the box for the foreseeable future. After all, reducing the price of the phone is irrelevant if the buyer has to spend extra on the charger.
