Russia’s Ambassador to the UN said NATO* is waging direct war by giving Ukraine long-range missiles. Vasily Nebenzya echoed Russian President Vladimir Putin who warned that lifting restrictions on long-range strikes for Kyiv would mean NATO is “at war” with Russia. Nebenzya also said that this situation “fundamentally changes Russia’s relationship with the Western camp.” So far, the US and UK have not permitted Ukraine to use long-range missiles against targets inside Russia, for fear of escalation.
