They will play at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, and Dublin’s Croke Park.

In a statement, Oasis hinted the tour could go global with ‘plans underway for Oasis Live ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year’.

Millions of fans will be glued to their screens on Saturday morning hoping to get their hands on a ticket.

And it appears they will go to any length in order to get one, with some saying they would sell their house.

Liam Gallagher has slammed claims Oasis are reuniting just because they’re ‘skint’.

Fans are preparing to scramble for tickets this Saturday ahead of a tour tipped to rake in £400million for him and his brother Noel.

Noel once claimed it would take ‘half a billion pounds’ for him to reunite Oasis, but the demand for the band’s comeback appears to have become so financially lucrative that the 57-year-old rocker is finally coming to the table.

The Britpop icons’ return is now closer than ever after Liam, 51, teased an official reunion during his set at Reading Festival last night.

It is believed a series of late night phone calls between the warring brothers sealed the deal on what would be one of the music events of the decade.

Oasis hint at world tour in 2025

Oasis has hinted the 2025 tour could go global, with ‘plans underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year’.

Liam and Noel famously split in 2009 while not on these shores after a backstage bust-up in Paris.

The row included a barrage of insults being traded and a guitar being ‘wielded like an axe’, to end a 15-year career which saw its fair share of rock and roll antics from both siblings.

Breaking:Oasis announce reunion tour in 2025!

Legendary Britpop band Oasis has confirmed it will reunite for a new UK and Ireland tour next year which will see brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher perform together for the first time in 16 years.

The Manchester group will perform four gigs each at Wembley Stadium and their home city’s Heaton Park as well as dates in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Dublin in July and August next year.

The dramatic announcement came after both brothers teased a reunion on social media and will likely spark a scramble for tickets when they go on sale on Saturday.

‘This is it, this is happening,’ the band said on X.

After years of teases, rumours and constant begging from fans, it appears that Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to bury the hatchet and reform Oasis.

The feuding brothers appear to have put their differences aside and reportedly struck a secret deal for a number of concerts next summer.

A music insider said Liam and Noel had secretly been back in touch and both had agreed to the reunion, ‘much to the surprise of people around them’.

The news has sent the band’s fanbase into meltdown as many did not expect to see the bickering pair work together again after their tumultuous split in 2009.

‘Holding page’ for Oasis tickets on Ticketmaster

Is this a sign that it is definitely (maybe) happening!

A holding page has appeared on Ticketmaster’s site this morning, although a message underneath reads: ‘Sorry… there are currently no upcoming concerts.’

‘Day Manchester has been waiting for’: Mayor speaks of excitement

Manchester Mayor and Oasis fan Andy Burnham has been doing the media rounds this morning, telling the BBC and Sky News that this is the ‘day that Manchester has been waiting for’.

But he said it would ‘be the most Noel and Liam thing ever if one of them woke up this morning and had a change of heart’.

But the person I am most pleased for is the one and only Peggy Gallagher. How brilliant is it going to be for her to see her sons on stage again?

We are just 18 minutes away from that expected HUGE announcement – nad some fans have been so excited they have ‘hardly slept’.

Fans of the Manchester rock band have pleaded with the brothers to regroup since they disbanded in 2009, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Excited Oasis fans are hitting the refresh button as they eagerly await the 8am announcement.

Oasis in line for £50m payday

MailOnline’s Entertainment Editor Grant Tucker reported Oasis have been promised a payday of £50 million to reform and embark on a global tour.

The eye-watering sum is said to have convinced warring brothers Noel and Liam to bury the hatchet 15 years after they last appeared on stage together.

Their fractious relationship came to a head in 2009, after a backstage fight in Paris led to Noel, 57, leaving the band.

In recent years, Liam, 51, has been keen to make amends with his brother and reform the iconic Britpop band, but his older brother poured cold water on the idea.

Liam and Noel’s fractious relationship began to thaw during late night phone calls.

A source told The Sun: ‘Noel and Liam are never going to be the best of friends but they want to bring Oasis back for the fans.

‘They aren’t getting any younger and the demand is huge. They decided it was now or never. Noel dug his heels in for a long time but has finally caved and agreed to return.

‘He spoke to Liam on the phone and they are on the same page. They know this reunion will go down in music history.’

Liam gave the biggest hint that his relationship with Noel had healed by dedicating the Oasis track Half The World Away to his estranged brother during his headline set at the Reading Festival on Sunday evening.

Introducing the song – a 1994 B-side that also featured as the theme tune to sitcom The Royle Family – he told revellers: ‘I wanna dedicate this song to Noel f**king Gallagher.’

It’s not just fans who’ll be jumping for joy about Liam and Noel burying the hatchet to reunite the iconic Britpop band.

The siblings’ mother, Peggy, 81, has been pleading for years for the warring brothers to make up.

The doting Irish mother was bullish in Liam’s 2019 documentary As It Was as she

declared how they are all going to get along in the New Year and ‘that’s it’.

A source close to the Gallaghers told The Mirror that Peggy ‘would love to see them back playing together and has always urged them to stop arguing and put the past behind them’.

She will be thrilled too with what has happened

The hint of a reunion has got Oasis fans salivating – and they are happy to raid their savings to fork out a whopping £500 for a ticket.

However, plenty told MailOnline that they doubt the truce will last, as ‘anything could happen’ – and some even think the tour will get cancelled after Noel and Liam have yet another fallout.

Wesley, from Wrexham, North Wales, said: ‘I think they will probably reunite. I love Oasis, I’ve seen them loads of times, but it’s been on and off for so long.

‘I’m very excited – but I don’t think we’ll get tickets, is the trouble.

‘They’ll cost a lot of money. I’d probably spend £500 max, no more than that. It’s a lot of money.

‘I think the truce will last about two shows max, to be honest with you – I can see them going back to the old ways.’

Although one fan is hoping a reunion will mean travelling back to the ticket prices of the 1990s, too.

When Oasis played at Knebworth Park in 1996, tickets were priced at £22.50…

What’s the story…

Good morning and welcome to MailOnline’s live coverage as we await a major announcement from Oasis at 8am.

Fans will be eagerly anticipating the outcome after Noel and Liam Gallagher fuelled speculation of a comeback on their social media accounts.

It comes amid reports the Manchester brothers are pairing up for new shows next year with Wembley and Heaton Park chosen as venues for the reunion.
