Europe is set to get a brand new incredible theme park which could compete against industry giants like Disneyland Paris.

Hossoland, a fairytale-themed adventure land, is due to open on Poland’s northern coast on May 31.

Plans for the massive park were first announced in 2017 and it’s hoping to rival some of Europe’s largest theme amusement parks.

Hossoland will span 400,000sq m/430,556sq ft with 50 rides and attractions across four themed lands.

The park will be centered around a lighthouse and its attractions are inspired by local Baltic legends and fairytales.

The lands include the Dragon Valley of the Mines, the Land of the Vikings, the Kingdom of Baltambrya and Mermaid City.

GhostRider, a steel coaster, is set to be one of the park’s standout attractions.

The new rollercoaster, worth several million pounds, will stretch 53m/176ft in the air taking guests on a thrilling ride at speeds of 72mph/115kmph.

Karen Hovsepyan, vice president of the park’s operator Hosso Group, previously told Planet Attractions: ‘Hossoland will be the only amusement park of such a large scale on the Polish coast.

‘It will certainly become a recognisable symbol and a frequently visited place in this region.’

It’s hoped that the park will soon attract one million tourists per year.

The closest airport to Hoosoland is Szczecin and Brits can book direct flights with Ryanair from both Liverpool and London.

Hossoland is then about a one hour drive from the airport.

The park is also under three hours drive from Berlin.

And it’s not the only exciting new theme park set to open in Europe in 2025.

Bommelwereld, an indoor theme park based on the Dutch comic characters Tom Poes and Ollie B.Bommel, is due to open its doors later this year.

It’s set to have 18 attractions across a 9,000 sqm/96,875 sqft site, including a mini flume ride and a climbing tower.

The director, Edwin Bomers, has said visitors will ‘feel like [they’re] outside’ in the ‘weatherproof’ indoor adventure land as everything will be ‘lit up’ so they can’t see the roof.

The park has yet to announce a firm opening date.
