Goldie’s necklace is from Sabyasachi High Jewellery’s Bengal Royale Collection and is crafted in 18k gold with 20.71 carats of asscher cut tourmaline, spinels with old mine cut and brilliant cut EF VVS VS diamonds.
Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Jamie Mizrahi, the necklace is Sabysachi’s classic ode to an era of iconic thought, craftsmanship and sartorial brilliance. Known for celebrating his roots through his creations, Sabysachi wants to bring the legacy of Bengal’s grand history of handcrafted jewellery back.
Goldie looked like royalty in the opulent chain-link necklace and each precious gem echoed the beauty of Sabyasachi’s craftsmanship. A beautiful amalgamation of East and West, the necklace and the ensemble together complemented Goldie Hawn’s red carpet look with elan. While she celebrated Indian craftsmanship through Sabysachi’s High Jewellery, Goldie paired the exquisite necklace with a custom vibrant yellow-golden Dolce & Gabbana strapless satin gown styled with a matching shawl. She was joined by her husband, actor Kurt Russell, who looked dapper in a classic tuxedo. The couple made a glamorous appearance on the red carpet and posed for the shutterbugs present.
As an Oscar presenter, Goldie shared the stage with Amazing Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield and they presented the Oscar award for Best Animated Film and Best Animated Short Film.
