Paris Hilton rides suitcase and teases run for political office after celebrating major win on Capitol Hill

Multi-million dollar heiress Paris Hilton brought her viral motorized suitcase to Washington, DC on Wednesday while celebrating a major achievement on Capitol Hill.

Hilton was spotted riding on her motorized suitcase during her trip to Capitol Hill, prompting observers to share photos of her on social media.

‘My brother in law is in DC for work and saw Paris Hilton pass by on her motorized suitcase LMAO,’ wrote user St. Paul Pork Product on X.

‘She likes her soootcaaaase,’ wrote Republican staffer Noah Sadlier, sharing the photo, and referring to the popular meme.

Hilton featured her suitcase on a TikTok video she shared in November, joining the millions of TikTok users who remixed and featured videos of themselves with the sound of President Donald Trump’s young son Barron Trump talking about his luggage.

‘I like my Slivcase,’ she wrote, sharing heart emojis as the pink clad millionaire rode around a Christmas tree on a motorized suitcase.

Resurfaced CNN video of Barron as a young child features him talking about his appreciation of his ‘suitcase,’ a briefcase that he takes to school.

The clip uploaded to TikTok by the Daily Mail generated millions of views and prompted users to imitate the young Trump son with their own TikTok videos of luggage or dance remix versions of his remarks.

Club remixes of Barron’s ‘suitcase’ voice track have even surfaced at clubs in the real world, as audiences cheer and pump their fists at the familiar sound of the young Barron Trump with a Slovenian accent talking about his luggage.

Hilton was on Capitol Hill to celebrate the passage of the Stop Institutionalized Child Abuse bill. The bill will establish an interagency work group under Department of Health and Human Services to provide oversight of ‘troubled teen’ facilities.

The House of Representatives passed the bill championed by Hilton after she publicly shared her traumatizing experience in a school for troubled minors when she was a teenager.

Hilton accused staff at the school of sexually and physically abusing her, force-feeding her medications, and putting her in solitary confinement during her two year experience at the facility. She first detailed her experience at the school in her 2020 documentary ‘This is Paris.’

‘I am so emotional right now. I have never felt prouder in my life,’ Hilton said to reporters. ‘Just to be here today and see our bill pass in Congress has been one of the most incredible moments of my life and I just know that the teenage me would be so proud of the woman that I am today — turning my pain into purpose and being a voice for so many people who don’t have a voice.’

The bill now heads to President Joe Biden’s desk, as he is expected to sign it.

Hilton told reporters that she was encouraged by her success on Capitol Hill, conceding that a future run for political office could be in her future.

‘After coming here so many times over the past couple of years and seeing that my voice really can make a difference and really shine a spotlight on things that are important around the world to make it a better place and safer for children, I can maybe see that happening one day,’ she said.
