‘Permanent CM Of Maharashtra’: Posters Backing Devendra Fadnavis Come Up Ahead Of Key NDA Meet

A key NDA meeting is all set to take place on Thursday in the national capital which will clarify the suspense over CM post.

Ahead of the key NDA meet over the Chief Minister’s face in Maharashtra on Thursday, posters were put up in front of Devendra Fadnavis’ residence terming him as the “permanent chief minister” of the state.

The posters were installed by BJP workers from Niphad, Nashik, which also included a caption referring to a symbolic oath-taking in Marathi. “I, Devendra Sarita Gangadharrao Fadnavis,” the poster read.

All Eyes On NDA Meet

An all-important meet of the Mahayuti leaders, including Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar, is scheduled to be held in the national capital today to decide on the CM post after the alliance stormed back to power in the state with a thumping majority.

On Wednesday, caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cleared the air around the CM post and his future ambitions. At a press conference, he said that he dialled Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to convey that he would not be any obstacle in their decision-making regarding the CM post and he would accept their decision whole-heartedly.
