Pierce Brosnan’s wife Keely continues to flaunt stunning weight loss as they support George Clooney on Broadway

Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith supported George Clooney during his Broadway debut on Thursday amid her stunning weight loss.

The former James Bond actor, 71, cozied up with the journalist, 61 – who first unveiled her slimmer figure earlier this week at the MobLand premiere in NYC.

Clooney has taken on a leading role in the production of Good Night, And Good Luck – which drew a number of celebrities for opening night such as Julia Roberts, Uma Thurman and Jennifer Lopez.

Keely – who tied the knot with Brosnan in 2001 – wowed wearing a sleeveless black dress with a lace overlay.

The ensemble was held up with thick straps that wrapped around her shoulders and she slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels.

A semi-sheer, floral embellished shawl draped down towards her elbows and Smith easily carried a sparkling black clutch in her hands.

Her brunette locks were combed back away from her face and flowed down in light waves past her shoulders.

Keely sweetly linked arms with Pierce who was dapper in a classic black suit as well as a white shirt and buttoned waistcoat.

The star completed the look with a dark navy bowtie as well as black dress shoes and a pair of stylish shades.

The couple – who first crossed paths in 1994 while in Mexico – paused for a brief photo session on the red carpet upon arriving to the Winter Garden Theater in the Big Apple.

Earlier this week on Monday, Keely supported her husband at the premiere of his latest Paramount+ series titled MobLand – which began airing on March 30.

The author also showed off her weight loss transformation – which is estimated to be around 100lbs – at the glitzy event.

During a past interview with Vogue, she had told the outlet: ‘I never shy away from… my curves. I never hide in baggy clothing,’ and Brosnan had chimed in to add, ‘I love my wife’s curves.’

Last year, Smith also slammed body shamers and shared a quote from Lexy Florentina to social media which read: ‘Look at your body. Look at those arms that have held people they love.

‘Look at those eyes that have seen oceans and mountains and big green trees. Look at those legs that have carried you through your longest journeys. Look at your feet that have held you up on your hardest days.’

It continued: ‘Look at your smile that has grinned a million times at the moments that have brought you joy.

‘Look at your body… not for the curves or texture but for the moments that this body has given you. Look at your body. Now what do you see?’

She also captioned the post by penning, ‘Gratitude for all my body has given and accomplished in 60 years.’

Keely is mother to sons Dylan, 28, and Paris, 24, whom she shares with Pierce. He is also father to Sean, 41, whom he welcomed with his first late wife Cassandra Harris.

The actor had married Cassandra in 1980 and also became stepfather to her children from a previous relationship: Charlotte and Christopher, 52.

Cassandra passed away in 1991 following a battle with ovarian cancer and daughter Charlotte also died in 2013 after a battle with the same cancer diagnosis.

Brosnan came to the defense of Keely on social media in the past when a social media user pointed out changes in their figures over the years on Facebook, per Hello! Magazine.

During a recent interview with Fox News Digital earlier this month, Brosnan gushed about his marriage to Keely.

‘Look, Keely and I – it will be 31 years here soon and it’s all gone by in the blink of an eye and the speed of a flame. We like each other and we have wonderful sons and we have a creative life.’

He added, ‘And it’s about solving problems – how you solve the problems – and how you can deal with them and the stresses and strains of life. But she still makes my heart sing, and she still makes my world turn.

‘She allows me to go out into the world and create what I do as an actor. And that takes a strength and a stamina, and we just enjoy each other’s company.’

The lovebirds flashed cheerful smiles on the red carpet during opening night as George Clooney made his Broadway debut in the adaptation of the 2005 film Good Luck, And Good Night.

The production was written by both Clooney and Grant Heslov – and directed by David Cromer.

The premise is: ‘Tune in to the golden age of broadcast journalism and Edward R. Murrow’s (Clooney) legendary, history-altering, on-air showdown with Senator Joseph McCarthy.

‘As McCarthyism casts a shadow over America, Murrow and his news team choose to confront the growing tide of paranoia and propaganda, even if it means turning the federal government and a worried nation against them.’

The story also ‘chronicles a time in American history when truth and journalistic integrity stood up to fearmongering and disinformation – and won,’ per an official description.

Performances for the show currently run through June 8 and some cast members also include Marc Brandt, Will Dagger and Clark Gregg.
