PM Modi US Visit Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (local time) will meet US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk in Washington DC as part of his two-day visit to the United States.
The PM, who is staying at the US presidential guest house Blair House in Washington DC, will also meet National Security Advisor Michael Waltz and Indian American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy before heading to the White House to meet his “friend” Trump for the first meeting since the US President’s inauguration.
This is PM Modi’s tenth US trip since he took over as India’s Prime Minister in 2014.

Upon his arrival in Washington, the Prime Minister met US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and discussed various aspects of the India-USA friendship.
The PM is also expected to meet senior US officials and engage with top business leaders and members of the Indian diaspora.
“I look forward to meeting my friend, President Trump. Although this will be our first meeting following his historic electoral victory and inauguration in January, I have a very warm recollection of working together in his first term in building a Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between India and the US,” Modi said in his departure statement.
The PM said his US visit will be an opportunity to build upon the successes of India-US collaboration in Trump’s first term and develop an agenda to further elevate and deepen partnership, including in the areas of technology, trade, defence, energy, and supply chain resilience.
