Poco F7 promises some solid upgrades and the new Ultra variant could give a tough fight to the flagship monopoly.

Poco F-series is getting a major flagship upgrade this month.

Poco has formally announced that the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphones, will go on sale worldwide on March 27 during an event in Singapore. The new F7 Ultra, the top model in the F-series lineup will be introduced later this week. According to reports, these devices might be international versions of the Redmi K80 series that made its debut in China last year.

Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra: Expected Specifications and Features

It is anticipated that the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra will both have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. The screens will have a 526 PPI pixel density.

According to reports, the design has minimal bezels for a sleek and contemporary appearance, quad-curved corners, and a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The bottom edge will contain the microphone, speaker grille, SIM tray, and USB Type-C connector, while the right edge will have the power button and volume rocker. Both phones will have a circular camera module at the back.

Poco is expected to use last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset to power the Poco F7 Pro. We could see the brand offer the device in both 256GB and 512GB storage variants, along with with 12GB of RAM. The Ultra variant is tipped to rely on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for flagship-grade performance, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The Poco F7 Pro will have two cameras on the back that could have a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP secondary lens. There might be a 20MP front camera for selfies.

The F7 Ultra will understandably feature a triple-rear camera system. We could see a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 32MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Poco F7 Pro could pack a 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. While the F7 Ultra is said to have a 5,300mAh battery that supports both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, providing a more flexible charging experience.

Both phones are anticipated to have an IP68 classification for water and dust resistance and run HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15. The Poco F7 Pro may start at EUR 599 (Rs 55,400 approx), while the F7 Ultra may cost EUR 749 (Rs 69,900 approx) as per reports.
