Police Respond to ‘Active Threat’ at a Hospital in York County, Pa.

The police responded to what they described as a “an active threat” at a hospital in York County, Pa., on Saturday.

The threat, at UPMC Memorial hospital in West Manchester Township, has been “neutralized” and an investigation is underway, Ted Czech, a public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management, said in a phone call on Saturday.
