There will also be a special screening of Man City’s game against Arsenal on the day as well. The fixture is likely to be a clash between the title contenders as the two teams were in a close contest in the race for the Premier League title last year.
Pep Guardiola’s side have had a perfect start to their season. They began the 2024-25 season by taking on their rivals Manchester United for the FA Community Shield. A late goal by the Portuguese midfielder, Bernardo Silva gave them the equalizer and they went on to take the win via penalty shoot-out.
The Cityzens also got their Premier League campaign on a dominant note as they beat Chelsea 2-0 in their opening game followed by a crushing 4-1 win over the newly promoted side, Ipswich Town. The league title-holders will now head to London where they take on Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham as part of their next fixture on Saturday.
In the Champions League, Man City now also know their opponents in the new league-based format. At home, they will face Inter, Club Brugge, Feyenoord and Sparta Prague. The club will also take on PSG, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon and Slovan Bratislava as their away fixtures.
