Aaliyah Kashyap, daughter of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, is gearing up to marry her long-time boyfriend, Shane Gregoire, in Mumbai. The celebrations kicked off with a vibrant haldi ceremony and a glamorous cocktail party, attended by close friends and family. Adding to the excitement, the couple recently hosted a stunning mehendi ceremony, which saw the presence of several industry bigwigs, including Aaliyah’s best friend, Khushi Kapoor.

Khushi Kapoor embraced traditional elegance with a regal Tarun Tahiliani saree from the designer’s Kasheeda Dreams collection. The exquisite six-yard ensemble was adorned with intricate motifs inspired by Persian carpets and the hand-painted artistry of Kashmiri Jamawar shawls. She paired the saree with a perfectly coordinated blouse, embellished with sequins, beaded details, and zardozi embroidery.
The actress defined elegance as she draped the multicoloured saree with elegant pleats on the front, while the pallu was draped on the shoulder in a floor-sweeping length. To accentuate her curves, Khushi cinched the saree on the waist with a jewelled belt adorned with emeralds. She also dropped a cascade of photos of her desi avatar on Instagram, and fans couldn’t take their eyes off her multicoloured six-yard wonder.
Styled by Ami Patel and Anushka Damani, Khushi paired the dress with a choker decked with Basuand emeralds and table-cut diamonds from 18th-century Hyderabad, a matching antique jhumka set with Colombian emeralds and Basra pearls, gold bracelets, an emerald stone waist belt, and some statement rings. The Byzantium handbag by Tarun Tahiliani and golden heels from Fizzy Goblet rounded off her look.

With the help of makeup artist Sushmita Vankar, the actress opted for a glam look. Her oh-so-ravishing makeup look included smooth contouring, rouge-tinted cheeks, lipstick in a pink shade, and a dab of highlighter. With feathered brows, winged eyeliner, shimmery nude eyeshadow, and mascara-laden eyelashes, her eye makeup complemented the outfit without overpowering it. Her lavender-coloured bindi perfectly added a fresh pop of colour and sealed her glam look.
Coming to her hairdo, Dianne Commissariat styled her tresses back in a braid with a few hairs cascading down the actress’s face. The hairstylist made Khushi’s voluminous braid even more special by adding gold ribbons.
Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire will tie the knot today, December 11, at the Bombay Club, Mahalakshmi Race Course, in Mumbai. The lovebirds got engaged in May last year and celebrated their engagement with loved ones and friends in August 2023.
