Biden To Deliver A Speech At State Department Before Farewell Address

Before his farewell speech, Biden is set to address the State Department on Monday and speak on his foreign policy legacy and “work to strengthen America in the world” as per a senior administration official, ABC News reported.

According to the official, when Biden began his presidency, America’s alliances “had been badly damaged” as he referred to Afghanistan, China and the pandemic.

“President Biden confronted these challenges head-on. Now, as he prepares to leave office, our country is in a much stronger position and we have delivered results for the American people,” said the senior administration official.

“During his remarks, President Biden will outline how our alliances and partnerships are the strongest they’ve ever been thanks to our work,” he added.

The official said that Biden would speak about the threats which the country is still facing and how his administration “will hand the next administration a stronger hand than he inherited.”
