After another forgetful season in the IPL in 2024, the Punjab Kings only retained two uncapped Indian players for Rs 9.50 crore and will enter the IPL 2025 mega auction with a purse of Rs 110.50 crore. With former Australian captain Ricky Ponting taking charge of the franchise as head coach, PBKS will start a new era and is expected to sign up many exciting players to boost its chances of winning its maiden IPL title next year.
