Rachael Finch has revealed the sad news that her adorable dog Simba has died.
The 35-year-old model and TV personality shared a video of the pooch to Instagram and captioned it with some heartbreaking words.
‘No one prepares you for this. You may see it, even have it explained as a child, but the reality is brutal. My heart is broken and it hurts,’ she began.
‘Simba has been a member of our family for 15 beautiful years. After a rapid decline in the last 6 months, with heavy hearts we say goodbye and send him somewhere peaceful.’
‘We love you more than anything and will always remember every beautiful day we got to spend with you.’
Rachael continued: ‘Never complaining, always present, endless love. You taught us well angel.’

Many of the model’s followers quickly took to the comment section to offer her their condolences.
‘So sad. Very sorry. Crossed the rainbow bridge to dog heaven. I hope he is peaceful now,’ one person wrote.
‘Sending love and strength – the hardest thing to do is say goodbye to our fur babies,’ another commented.
‘Sending lots of love to you all very sorry for your loss. Forever a very sweet boy,’ a third said.
Rachael and her husband Michael Miziner adopted Simba back in 2010.
The couple met on the 2010 season of Dancing With The Stars – he was her dance partner, and she a contestant.
The pair, who married in 2013, now balance parenthood with a burgeoning fitness empire.
They share daughter Violet, 11, and son Dominic, seven.

Rachael is known for being a fitness fanatic and often gives her fans an insight into her and her family’s exercise regimes.
On Christmas Day, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself and her family all exercising at a local playground as they didn’t take time off their active lifestyles.
In the video, Rachael led her family in an intense guided workout session on Christmas morning as they all did pyramid jump squats together.
‘Come on, Violet. We can’t give up now!’ Rachael said in the video, motivating her daughter to complete the morning workout.
It seemed that Dominic had also hit a wall during his training, prompting Michael to turn back and say: ‘Don’t sit, come on!’
Rachael also shared a photo of her family happily posing after their post-Christmas workout, with her kids Violet and Dominic beaming alongside Michael.
The family often keep fit and workout together, but have divided fans on social media with Rachael frequently being trolled for their very active lifestyles.
Rachael does not shy away from hitting out at the online trolls and shared an impassioned post earlier this year when she was branded an ‘almond mum’.
Many of the model’s followers quickly took to the comment section to offer her their condolences
She was wildly accused of ‘endangering’ her kids after sharing a video of herself making them ‘naked burgers’ using lettuce cups instead of bread rolls.
‘Almond mum’ is a pejorative term for a mother who pushes disordered and unhealthy eating habits on her children.
It is often used to refer to parents who are ‘obsessed’ with nutrition.
A fired-up Rachael was quick to hit back at the baseless accusation, which she deemed to be ‘hilarious’.
‘This was because I made naked burgers for dinner (meat patty and veggies wrapped in a lettuce cup),’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘Whilst it’s downright nasty, it’s also absurdly hilarious. I’ve become a pro at emotionally responding to these comments now.’
