Television actress Charu Asopa got separated from her husband-actor Rajeev Sen in 2023. The former couple, however, surprised fans after a video of the duo celebrating New Year together surfaced on the internet. In a video, posted by Rajeev on Instagram he was seen enjoying a New Year’s Eve party with Charu. They were seen sporting beaming smiles dancing to upbeat songs and having a blast. The clip indicates that despite going their separate ways, the ex-pair share an amicable bond. They also continue to co-parent their daughter Ziana Sen.
Sharing the video, Rajeev Sen wrote, “Happy New Year 2025.” Accompanying Charu Asopa and Rajeev were their daughter Ziana, his family and his sister Sushmita Sen. They jetted off to Dubai to ring in the New Year festivities. In the clip, the family was seen exchanging warm hugs. It was Rajeev’s affectionate gesture towards his ex-wife that caught everyone’s attention. After hugging his sister and mother, Rajeev hugged Charu and kissed her forehead.
Rajeev Sen also shared a couple of selfies with Charu Asopa. The opening frame captures the actor leaning towards Charu. Rajeev looked handsome dressed in a black suit and grey blazer. Charu was dressed to the nines in a strapless black mini-dress. “Happy New Year India from Dubai cheers to a beautiful & Rocking 2025 stay healthy, wealthy & Happy,” captioned Rajeev.
Social media users were quick to react to the post. One user said, “So good to see you both together.” Another comment read, “May you come back together and make more beautiful babies, nazar na lage, one life guys live it well, you both are blessed, don’t let it go waste, make beautiful memories.”
Another wrote, “I always prayed for you to be together. I don’t know why, though I know you just as the lil brother of the classy Sushmita Sen.”
Meanwhile, Charu offered fans some lovely glimpses of the party venue on Instagram. She struck a stylish pose with her sister-in-law Sushmita Sen. “Some fun moments with my most beautiful didi, our cutest Alisah and the world’s best bua Sushmita Sen. Love you didi you are the best,” read her side note.
Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen got married in 2019. They parted ways in 2023.
