Celebrity MasterChef, the Farah Khan-hosted cooking-based reality show is getting interesting with each passing episode with contestants showing their culinary talent to reserve their spot in the finale. The forthcoming episode of Celebrity MasterChef is going to be high on tension and drama as participants Rajiv Adatia and Nikki Tamboli will have a fallout during a cook-along challenge with the guest Chef Manu Chandra.
In the latest promo, judge Ranveer Brar increased the difficulty level for all the contestants as he welcomed Chef Manu Chandra for a new cook-along task. He states, “Jo Chef is kitchen mein aaj aa rahe hain, wo hain Chef Manu Chandra (The Chef who is coming to the kitchen today is Chef Manu Chandra).” The contestants greeted him with a warm heart. Dipika Kakar, on the other hand, felt nervous and said, “Unhe dekhke hi mere paseena chhut gaye (I started sweating just looking at them).”
As the video progresses, Chandra tells the contestants that they will be cooking with him today and Ranveer explains the challenge, saying, “Today is Celebrity MasterChef’s first cook-along challenge.”
The Chef then proceeds to cut the vegetables while informing the participants about what he’s doing step-by-step. However, the contestants fall behind. Ranveer informs them that Chandra has moved on to garlic and they haven’t even begun slicing the ginger.
Tensions began to escalate inside the kitchen as the contestants tried to match Chandra’s speed. Furthermore, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar and Rajiv Adatia ran towards the Chef’s cooking station to understand the aroma prepared.
At a point in the promo, Rajiv lashed out at Nikki saying, “Are you mad? Have you lost it? Sachme hadd hai matlab.” However, Nikki didn’t react, but Farah and their co-contestant were shocked listening to Rajiv’s comments.
Sharing the promo on Instagram, the makers wrote in the caption, “Top tier pressure in the kitchen! Chef ke sath sync nahi hoga fir seeti toh bajegi hi!”
The remaining contestants in Celebrity MasterChef include Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Usha Nadkarni, Dipika Kakar, Faisal Shaikh and Usha Nadkarni.
Dipika has quit the show mid-way due to her health issues. She will reportedly be eliminated after the Holi special episode.
Celebrity MasterChef premieres on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
