The actress broke free from sarees and was spotted wearing a salwar suit that was perfect for the holidays.

Breaking away from sarees, Rashmika Mandanna was seen dressed in a festive-ready salwar suit by Tarun Tahiliani.

With Navratri festivities around the country, celebrities too have embraced the spirit as they bring their best fashion forward in ethnics. Beloved actress Rashmika Mandanna wished fans a Happy Navratri on Day 6 in an embellished red salwar kameez designed by Tarun Tahiliani. According to Drik Panchang, wearing red on Day 6 of Navratri is considered auspicious. Red symbolises love, power and passion.

Sharing a string of pictures on her official Instagram handle, Rashmika Mandanna wrote, “I was waaaaaiting for today…Today is red colour so I had to put these up! Wishing all of you a very very very happy Navratri. Sending you all lots of loveeee and bigggg hugs.”

Breaking away from sarees, the actress was seen dressed in a festive-ready salwar suit. Rashmika’s heavily embellished ensemble featured red and gold embroidery. The Anarkali-style outfit came with a plunging neckline and intricate beadwork. Complementing her luxurious outfit, Rashmika paired the suit with a matching sheer dupatta. Ditching heavy accessories, the actress chose to let her outfit take centre stage. She accessorised the heavy outfit with a few statement rings and a set of dainty earrings.

Her makeup included a dewy base with a natural lip tint, a dab of highlighter around the high points of her cheeks, darkened eyebrows, and a bindi for an extra shine to her look.

For the final touches, Rashmika left her tresses open in soft waves with a middle parting and slipped a pair of block heels, sealing her look with absolute sophistication.

The actress has an exciting lineup of films. She will be seen reprising her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun. Moreover, she is set to play the character of Chatrapati Sambhaji’s wife Yesubai Bhonsale in Chhaava alongside Vicky Kaushal.

The festival of Navratri started on October 3 in India and will end with Vijay Dashami on October 12. The auspicious festival honours the 9 forms of Maa Durga and celebrates her triumph over the demon king Mahishasura, symbolising the victory of good over evil.
