Team India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin came up with a top-class catch to get rid of New Zealand batter Daryll Mitchell in the second innings of the third and final Test against the Kiwis at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.

Ashwin peddled backwards before latching onto the ball with outstretched arms, and managed to hold on to the leather despite going to the ground to send Mitchell back to the hut.

The Kiwi middle-order batter was on 21 off 44 deliveries before Ashwin’s blinder brought Mitchell’s innings to a halt.
