Rebel told Today, “I came from being somebody who really didn’t think I was lovable and didn’t think I could be capable of having really intimate relationships, and then to now have a gorgeous fiancé and then the baby, it’s just a whole other world of love that’s opened up in my heart.” Her statement reveals how transformation was not just restricted to the physical aspect but also the mental aspect. She is married to Ramona Agruma.
Talking about Ozempic, she told People, “Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good.”
Rebel’s fitness journey is inspirational. Here are five key things that you should keep in mind before going on a weight loss journey.
- 1. Set Realistic Goals: Aim for achievable and sustainable goals. Rapid weight loss can be tempting, but it’s important to set a target that promotes long-term success.
- 2. Understand Your Nutrition: Weight loss is primarily influenced by diet, so it’s essential to have a solid understanding of your nutritional needs. Focus on a balanced, nutrient-dense diet with appropriate portions, including lean proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Avoid crash diets as they are not sustainable in the long run.
- 3. Focus on Consistency: It’s okay to have occasional slip-ups, but maintaining a consistent routine with healthy eating, exercise, and rest will yield better results.
- 4. Incorporate Exercise: While diet is crucial, regular physical activity accelerates weight loss, improves overall health, and helps preserve muscle mass.
- 5. Prioritize Mental and Emotional Well-Being: Weight loss can be a mental and emotional journey as much as a physical one. Cultivate a positive mindset, practice self-compassion, and be patient with the process.
