The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly trying to find a way to take the 2nd pick of the NFL Draft from the Cleveland Browns and go for Travis Hunter.
The Jaguars hold pick No. 5 themselves but Heismann Trophy holder Hunter is a unique prospect given that he plays two ways as a receiver and a cornerback. And it could prompt the organization into a blockbuster late move.
Speaking on the Rich Eisen show, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport said: ‘I would say that I think, but don’t know, that Travis Hunter is the best guess to go there (at No. 2).
‘There’s some interest (in the second pick). There is some real interest.
‘I talked about the Jaguars preparing a bold move and I wonder, are they a team that tries to come up? It would be a lot.
‘If the Jaguars are going to do something bold… I was told that the Jaguars are not going to do something timid. I think they are at least considering it.’

Rapoport then wrote on X: ‘The Jaguars, poised to explore a bold move, are the team to watch heading into tonight.’
Jacksonville is in a rebuilding phase with Liam Coen taking over as head coach.
They ended the 2024 campaign outside the playoffs with a 4-13 record, their season petering out when quarterback Trevor Lawrence was badly concussed.
