Ricky Pearsall’s comeback to the gridiron likely now feels complete as he scored his first NFL touchdown just 71 days after being shot.
The 49ers wide receiver was shot during a robbery attempt in San Francisco in late August, sustaining a bullet wound to the chest during the altercation and was in serious-but-stable condition.
The shooting occurred nine days before what was to be his NFL debut against the New York Jets.
