Rob Marciano purchases $1.2m New York home in the suburbs after landing CBS job

Rob Marciano has reportedly purchased a $1.2 million home in the suburbs of New York after landing a new job at CBS.

The 56-year-old was allegedly fired from his role at Good Morning America last year after being yanked off air in 2022 for supposed anger management issues.

In October 2024, it was revealed that he’d found a new home at CBS and had been hired to join the network’s expanding weather team.

According to The US Sun, Rob purchased his new suburban property in November and the 1,745-square-foot home boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The house is considered a mansion, as records show that he paid a $12,010 mansion tax.

The publication claims that the property has hardwood floors throughout, and also has private access to the beach.

Rob’s new living room is said to include a fireplace as well as ‘a large picture window that looks out to the landscaped backyard and patio.’

He also has marble countertops in his new kitchen and his primary suite has a luxurious walk-in closet and a modern bathroom with his-and-her sinks.

Prior to buying his new home, Rob had been living in a 2,000-square-foot apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and was reportedly paying $3,250 a month.

He moved into the apartment in 2021 following his split from his wife of 11 years Eryn Woodburn.

The former couple sold their five-bedroom mansion in Rye, New York, on July 1, 2022 for $2.7 million.

Rob and real estate agent Eryn, who are parents to their two children Madelynn, 12, and Mason, six, appear to be on good terms following their split and she was even pictured with him as he went house hunting last October.

Though Eryn was not listed as an agent for the home sale, her company represented Rob in the process.

Sources claimed that Rob was facing anger management issues during his divorce from Eryn, and this could have been to blame for ‘a number of alarming events’ that allegedly occurred at GMA.

His dismissal followed an alleged pattern of incidents, including one in 2022 that led to him being temporarily removed from the morning show’s studio.

Rob was reportedly ‘banned’ from the morning show’s studio after making a colleague uncomfortable, according to Page Six.

After a month off the air he was shuffled to ABC’s World News Tonight, which shoots from a different studio, and reported from the field.

The father-of-two was initially suspended for a month, but GMA executive producer Simone Swink kept him banned from the studio indefinitely.

‘He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,’ a source told the Post in 2023.

‘He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events,’ a second source claimed.
