Laughter Chefs, a popular celebrity culinary reality show, is set to return with its new season this month. Many noted celebrities from the television and reality Colors TV space will participate and showcase their cooking abilities with a dose of humour. The makers have been sharing contestants’ promos on their official social media channels, and these teasers promised to bring back the fun elements the viewers loved in the first season. One of the latest promos showcases a fun banter between Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya.
The promo starts with Rubina asking Rahul not to add more oil to their dish as it would spoil it. She then asks him to pass a tissue to clean the table. Later, she instructs Rahul to help her with a cutlery saying, “Yeh nahi uske baju wala do (Give me the one kept on the side)” but the latter gives her the wrong one. She then says, “Uske idhaar wala (The one on the right side).” The situation ends in a fun interaction as Rahul appears distressed about the confusing instructions he is unable to follow.
Another promo featuring Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya and host Bharti Singh showed the former demonstrating her culinary skills. In the clip, Rubina says, “Mujhe khajur do kyunki usse glycemic index kam hota hai” (Please give me dates as they are low on the glycemic index), leaving Bharti Singh puzzled. “Kaunsa index?” Bharti asked. Rubina highlighted, “It’s the Glycemic Index,” Bharti remained stunned for a moment. Following this Rahul also seemed stunned as Rubina asked for a spatula. He later asked her to use simple words.
While Rahul Vaidya has been part of the show since season 1, Rubina has joined the show this time and is paired with him. Laughter Chefs will air on Colors TV and JioCinema every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM from January 25. This season Mannara Chopra, Elvish Yadav, Abdu Rozik, Abhishek Kumar and Samath Jurel have joined the show. Bharti Singh will once again host the show and celebrity chef Harpal Singh also returns as the expert judge.
