Television actress Rubina Dilaik is currently busy shooting for the cooking reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment. From whipping up mouthwatering dishes with her cooking skills to serving the right dose of entertainment, the actress is constantly attracting viewers. Apart from this, what leaves the viewers hooked to their TV screen is the bitter-sweet fights between Rubina Dilaik and Rahul Vaidya, who are paired together for this season. Their banter adds a fun and spicy element to the cooking competition.
Having said that, the actress recently had a candid conversation with India Forums where she opened up about her evolving bond with Rahul Vaidya and her verbal altercation with Ankita Lokhande while cooking.
Highlighting how they’ve learnt to ‘agree to disagree,’ Rubina discusses her changing dynamics with Rahul Vaidya. She said, “It has evolved a lot. Now we fight less. No, no, we fight equally, but we agree to disagree now. There are a lot of changes now. And wo bhi boht mellow ho gaye hain. And he listens, jo ki pehle was very, very difficult. But I think we are doing good. (And he too has become very mellow. And he listens, which earlier was very, very difficult.)”
“I have said this even when we were in Bigg Boss, even when we couldn’t see each other eye to eye, mai tb bhi kehti thi ki he is a fantastic artist. Wo cheez badli nahi hai. (I used to say this earlier also that he is a fantastic artist. Those things haven’t changed) I think that’s one very strong and a good very positive aspect, that he is a fantastic singer,” she added.
In the same conversation, she shares her thoughts on the recent verbal altercation with Ankita Lokhande while cooking. Emphasising how little disagreements are part of every close-knit relationship, she said, “Wo kehte hai na bartan bajte hi hai jab ek sath raho. That’s absolutely okay. Jaha pyar hota hai waha takraar bhi hota hai. And it was all under a healthy spirit. (Utensils always make noise when they are together. That is absolutely okay. Where there is love, there is also anger. And it was all under a healthy spirit).”
Speaking about Laughter Chefs, the cooking reality show premieres on Colors TV every Saturday and Sunday. The brand new season, hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and chef Harpal Singh, continues to attract viewers with its hilarious gags and rib-tickling comedy. Besides Rubina and Rahul, this season has paired up popular TV stars, including Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Sudesh Lehri and Mannara Chopra, Elvish Yadav and Karan Kundraa, as well as Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel.
Other than the culinary show, Rubina has stepped into the Punjabi film industry with the movie ‘Chal Bhajj Chaliye.’ Released in theatres on April 5, Sunil Thakur’s directorial cast Mahabir Bhullar, Inder Chahal, and Gurpreet Bhangu, among others, in the lead roles.
