Having said that, the actress recently left everyone surprised when she arrived for the wedding function of a paparazzo in Mumbai. A video featuring her as she interacted with the newly wedded couple is now going viral, earning love from fans.
The clip begins with Rupali Ganguly talking about the promise she made to the paparazzo one year back. The actress had assured the photographer that she would attend his wedding. Keeping her promise, she made sure to mark her presence at the joyous occasion, showering blessings on the couple ahead of their marital journey. In the video, Rupali is also heard saying, “Wish you a very happy married life.” As the clip proceeded, we can also see Rupali Ganguly posing with the couple and their families on stage while also greeting them, proving her humility and down-to-earth demeanour. The guests present at the function cheered for her, expressing their love through action as they joined her on stage to meet her one by one.
For the wedding function, Rupali was dressed in a multicoloured saree paired with a yellow blouse and tied her tresses in a braid in the front for a touch of romance to her otherwise ethnic look. Her small bindi, minimal makeup and accessories completed the look, showcasing simplicity never goes out of style.
On the work front, Rupali Ganguly is winning hearts with her role in Anupamaa. The show airs on Star Plus, Monday to Friday, keeping the fans engaged since its premiere a few years back. Earlier this year, speculations were rife that the actress was planning to quit the show. As fans were left disappointed, the actress came out to clear the air, denying reports of her exit from the popular show.
In an interaction with HT, Rupali said, “Anupamaa is not just a show for me; it’s an emotion, it’s my home, my second home, all my fur babies are here, and the unit has become like a family. So, does anyone leave their family, their home? And God forbid, may it never happen in life. If Rajan Ji ever says that he doesn’t need me anymore, then I might fight with him, or argue, and say, ‘Please let me stay in Anupamaa.”
