Rush hour chaos as man is STABBED at Grand Central station in front of horrified commuters

Two men were stabbed at New York City’s Grand Central Station during rush hour Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the Mezzanine area of the bustling transit hub at approximately 7.20am, the NYPD told DailyMail.com.

Upon arrival, police found a 28-year-old male victim who had been stabbed in the abdomen by an unidentified individual.

A 32-year-old male victim had also been stabbed in the abdomen and buttocks by the same attacker.

The victims were transported to NYC Health and Hospitals / Bellevue in stable condition.

Police said the suspect fled the train station in an unknown direction, and no arrest has been made as the search continues.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the attack and if the suspect had a motive.

The MTA said the incident did not impact service during the rush hour commute.

Just weeks earlier, a subway rider was stabbed in the hand and punched in the nose at Grand Central.

A 28-year-old was attacked during an argument over a bike that was blocking elevator doors on the mezzanine level of the 7 train on Mary 31, the New York Post reported.

Fearful and frustrated New Yorkers have voiced their concerns about their daily commutes as shocking instances of violence have recently rocked the city’s subways.

In just 2024 alone, the city’s transit system recorded 10 murders – double the number from the previous year.

Frequent commuters told DailyMail.com that subway violence combined with increased traffic tolls has made it difficult to decide the safest and most tangible ways to get around the Big Apple.

This is a developing story…
